QRFY QR code stopped working

QRFY turns trial codes off when the 7-day trial ends. If your invitations, cards or signs carry a qrfy.io code and the account was never paid, that is not a glitch — it is the business model, confirmed in QRFY’s own support pages.

What happened

Your code encodes a link on qrfy.io. QRFY's support documentation confirms codes deactivate at the end of the free trial, and the shortest path back is a paid commitment of about $120. The complaint trail is long: a couple on r/weddingplanning lost $175 of printed stationery this way; reviewers report the identical shutoff through 2026 — and a copycat vendor, QRFast, drew $133 surprise-charge complaints in August–September 2026 running the same play.

Will this QR code die?

Drop in a photo, a screenshot, or the code file itself. We decode it in your browser — the image never leaves your device — and tell you who holds the switch.

A photo of the printed piece works. Sharper is better; we would rather say “unreadable” than guess.

Your two ways out

Pay QRFY — revives the codes, renews the meter, and leaves every printed piece one lapse from dying again. Replace statically — open the code's destination yourself, generate a permanent code that encodes it directly (free generator), and reprint what hasn't gone out. For pieces already in the world, point your own domain's redirect at the new destination if the original link was yours to control. Whole printed sets get audited and re-sheeted in the Print Pack.

Printing more than one QR code? Audit the whole run before it costs you.

The checker above judges one code. The Print Pack judges the set — and lays it out for the printer, validated.

Batch print sheets

Every code in the run on validated print-ready sheets — US Letter or A4, each cell with its label, its destination printed underneath as the human fallback, and a guaranteed 4-module quiet zone. Print from the browser or save as PDF.

Set-level expiry audit

Drop in up to 50 code images — files or photos of the printed sheets — and get one verdict table for the whole run: permanent, dies-if-unpaid, at-risk, unreadable. With one-click verified static replacements for every code that can die.
